Funeral CelebrantThe passing of a loved one is a particularly significant time which requires a celebrant who is compassionate, experienced, graceful and supportive. I am not only experienced as a funeral celebrant (over 20yrs), but also well-equipped in dealing with a wide range of family needs from my years as a counsellor. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people and journey with them as the landscape of their family life changes.

It is my desire as a funeral celebrant to see those who have passed honoured, and work with the family to create a truly respectful and memorable ceremony.  If you have recently suffered the loss of a loved one, or are preparing to attend to the needs of one, I can be of assistance.

“Julie was a celebrant for the funeral service for both my parents who passed on in 2003 and 2011.  I have known Julie for a number of years and very aware of her empathy and compassion in times of illness and death. I was so grateful that she was able to be a part of fare welling my folks.  Julie takes care of the family during this time and has a pretty unique and special way of leading the funerals in a considerate and thoughtful way.  Julie brings insight and wisdom to these occasions – a great comfort to the bereaved.”  Jeff Dougal, Torbay.
